Ingredients:

-1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken thighs

-1 tablespoon of cornstarch

-1 tablespoon of dried oregano

-1 tablespoon of dried thyme

-1 teaspoon of garlic powder

-1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

-1/4 cup of buttermilk

-1/4 cup of hot sauce

Instructions:

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

- In a large bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, and black pepper.

- Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces and add it to the bowl.

- Toss the chicken until it is evenly coated with the flour mixture.

- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook it for about 5 minutes per side, or until it is golden brown.

- In a small bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and hot sauce.

- Add the chicken to a large baking dish and pour the buttermilk mixture over it.

- Bake the chicken for 20 minutes, or until it is cooked through.

- While the chicken is baking, make the batter.

- Dip each piece of chicken in the batter and then place it back in the baking dish.

- Bake the chicken for an additional 20 minutes, or until the batter is golden brown and crispy.
